Emma Danaher has a general intellectual property law practice with a focus on intellectual property litigation. Before becoming an associate at Bennett Jones, she summered and articled with the firm. During her articling term, she had the opportunity to assist with two patent trials in the pharmaceutical sector.
Emma earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto in 2024. During law school, she was heavily involved in mooting and participated in the University of Toronto Grand Moot in the fall of 2023. She was also a member of the University of Toronto Gale Cup Moot Team in 2023, which won the competition and was awarded the Stephanie Fleur Couzin Medal for Mooting by the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Emma further contributed to the law school community by student coaching competitive moot teams, volunteering with the Law in Action Within Schools mock trial club and serving on the University of Toronto Faculty of Law's Moot Court Committee.
Prior to law school, Emma completed her Bachelor of Applied Science in Justice Studies at the University of Guelph-Humber in 2021. Emma was called to the Ontario Bar in 2025 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
