A pandemic, now in retreat, and wars still raging have disrupted the global economy over the past three years. Adjustment to these shocks is advanced, but not completed. Our 2024 Economic Outlook presentation featured David Dodge, OC and Serge Dupont as they reviewed the state of the economy, presented scenarios for the next two years, and set out a context for long-term business planning. Moderated by Claire Kennedy, the discussion addressed how Canadian governments and businesses may navigate a complex interplay of short- and long-term economic forces.
