John Baird appeared live on BNN Bloomberg to discuss what’s next in NAFTA renegotiations in light of the U.S.-Mexico trade agreement announced on August 27. John said Canada needs to continue to say no to a five year sunset clause or the removal of Chapter 19 from a revised deal. He also spoke about the strategy of the negotiations, working with President Trump and the increase in protectionism throughout the U.S.
