Taylor Davis advises on corporate commercial law, focusing on financial services and banking. He represents banks, other financial institutions and clients in aviation, energy, and oil and gas industries primarily with respect to secured financings.
Doug Fenton is a skilled litigator focused on complex, high-stakes litigation. His practice broadly includes corporate and commercial disputes, securities litigation, shareholder activism, bankruptcy, fraud, defamation, constitutional litigation, and class actions, often with a cross-border dimension. A significant portion of Doug’s practice focuses on appellate litigation, where he has handled a wide range of appeals on corporate and commercial law, constitutional law and bankruptcy and insolvency issues.
Haifeng Hu’s practice focuses advising clients on private funds formation, private equity, M&A, energy, corporate finance and securities, and general corporate matters.
Ethan Schiff is a commercial litigator handling complex proceedings, including multi-jurisdictional class actions alleging negligent provision of products and services. He handles a full range of commercial disputes, including claims in breach of contract, negligence and fraud.
Andrea Steele has a diverse practice in commercial litigation and health law. She advises on shareholder and partnership disputes, complex contractual issues, construction litigation and professional negligence matters. Her health law expertise includes representing clients in regulatory and administrative complaints, as well as medical malpractice litigation.
Jie (Kevin) Zhou focusses on the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, investment funds, corporate financing and energy transactions.
Mahnaz Jan Ali advises borrowers, sponsors, banks and alternative lenders on various sophisticated secured and unsecured lending transactions. She has many years of experience working on national and cross-border financings, syndicated loan transactions, acquisition finance, project financings (renewable energy and infrastructure), corporate, equipment and real estate financings.
Allyson Marta advises on the pensions and benefits aspects of corporate transactions and restructurings. Her practice focuses on pension plan compliance, governance, investments, and administration, as well as legal and regulatory matters related to retirement and benefit plans more broadly.
David Price’s practice focuses on employment, labour relations, human rights and privacy law. He represents union and non-union employers on an array of employment law matters, including dispute resolution. He also provides strategic advice on employment and labour matters in mergers and acquisitions, going private transactions, restructurings and insolvencies.
