Cameron specializes in employment law, labour law and litigation, providing strategic advice to both unionized and non-unionized employers.
Cameron’s practice focuses on employment law, labour law and litigation. He advises unionized and non-unionized employers on issues relating to employment standards compliance, occupational health and safety, workers’ compensation, terminations, restrictive covenants, employment agreements, human rights, grievances and employment litigation.
Cameron has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta and British Columbia. He also acts in disputes before private arbitrators and government tribunals, including human rights commissions and labour boards.
Before joining Bennett Jones, Cameron articled and worked at a leading national business law firm. Prior to pursuing his law degree, Cameron worked in labour relations in the public sector.
Outside of law, Cameron is a dedicated volunteer in his community. He regularly campaigns for candidates in local elections and is a constituency-level director for a major political party in Alberta.
