Jonas Patron has a general commercial litigation practice specializing in construction disputes and health law. He also brings a particular expertise in legal issues involving constitutional, statutory and contractual interpretation, as well as on matters involving appellate work and judicial review.
Before becoming an associate at Bennett Jones, Jonas served as a law clerk to the Honorable Justice Dawn Pentelechuk of the Court of Appeal of Alberta. He also summered and articled with the firm.
During law school, Jonas held positions with various student groups and graduated with distinction after maintaining First Class Standing.
Jonas grew up practicing martial arts and competed as part of the Canadian National Team in Taekwondo at the 2014 World Junior Championships. He remains active in the martial art community and currently practices Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
