CTV News covered the second annual True Patriot Love Captain Nichola Goddard Reception held at Bennett Jones in Toronto. Claire Kennedy moderated a panel with Lieutenant Commander Kathryn Logan, Captain (Ret’d) Theresa Sapara and Master Warrant Officer Erica Oliver to discuss how their military careers have shaped them and built their resilience and agility as women leaders.

Captain Nichola Goddard was the first female Canadian soldier to die in a combat role, while serving in Afghanistan. She was killed at age 26 during an ambush west of Kandahar city on May 17, 2006.
