Improving health and wellbeing to achieve high performance levels under stressful conditions is something all business professionals strive to accomplish. An understanding of how the human body and mind reacts to extreme pressure situations can assist us in taking measures to improve our physical and mental condition so that we can perform at the highest level when we need to most.
Join Bennett Jones and external facilitator:
Dr. Greg Wells, Ph.D., President, The Wells Performance Group
for a professionalism series course which will focus on:
- Understanding how the human physiological state can impact on performance;
- How to respond to pressure and excel in the most difficult circumstances; and
- How to maintain high performance levels under periods of both short and long term stress.
Greg is a scientist and physiologist who specializes in health and performance in extreme conditions. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and an Associate Scientist at the Hospital for Sick Children. Greg maintains a consulting practice where he applies the science of physiology to improve the training and performance of Olympic level athletes. Greg was the host of the “Superbodies” segments for Canada's national Olympic broadcast and the on-camera sport science and sport medicine analyst during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and CTV's broadcast of the 2012 London Olympics.
