OTTAWA, September 13, 2013 – The Council of Canadian Academies recently announced the appointment of David Dodge, as Chair of the Expert Panel on STEM Skills for the Future. Employment and Social Development Canada has asked the Council to assess Canada's preparedness to meet future skills requirements in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
Dodge, a Senior Advisor with Bennett Jones LLP, will work with a group of experts to address the question: How well is Canada prepared to meet future skills requirements in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)?
Prior to joining Bennett Jones Mr. Dodge served as Governor of the Bank of Canada from 2001 to 2008 after serving Deputy Minister at Health Canada and Finance Canada.
