Vlad maintains a corporate and commercial law practice in Edmonton. He routinely assists clients in mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and financing matters. Through his practice, Vlad also guides clients through the various processes involving estate administration and estate planning. Additionally, he brings several years of general legal experience from the Ukraine, specifically in banking and financial law.
Before joining the firm’s corporate department, Vlad worked at Bennett Jones as a legal assistant while he completed the academic requirements for lawyers educated outside the country. He then completed his articling term with the firm after earning his Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA).
Beyond his practice, Vlad frequently mentor’s immigrating lawyers, helping them through the accreditation process and as they integrate into the legal profession in Canada. Aside from his professional commitments, Vlad is a devoted husband and father of three, as well as an enthusiastic swimmer and cyclist.
Vlad is fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian.
