Jenna Vivian has a general civil litigation practice with a particular focus on commercial litigation, employment law, occupational health and safety and health law.
Jenna has a general commercial litigation practice with a focus on construction litigation, shareholders' disputes, partnership disputes and complex contractual disputes.
Jenna provides strategic advice to employers and employees on a variety of issues including severance entitlements, wrongful and constructive dismissal and human rights including the accommodation of disabled and injured employees in the workplace. She assists clients with complaints made to the Employment Standards Board and the Alberta Human Rights Commission.
Jenna’s occupational health and safety practice includes occupational health and safety risk and incident management, defence of occupational health and safety prosecutions, health and safety related negligence litigation and a wide range of employment matters.
Jenna represents physicians in regulatory matters and litigation, including malpractice actions, professional discipline and billing reviews.
In addition to her practice, Jenna is a member of the Board of Directors of Kids up Front. Prior to this role, she volunteered with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre, a not-for-profit organization providing summary legal advice to low-income individuals.
