Darrel Pearson participated in an experts debate panel which took place in San Diego, CA during the Cargo Logistics America conference on December 2 and 3, 2015. The debate was titled "Experts Debate: Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) vs North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)" and was sponsored by Neville Peterson LLP.

From an industry and legal perspective, the panel discussed whether the NAFTA goals have been achieved and what downfalls have resulted. Moreover, the panel reviewed what NAFTA achievements may be translated to future multilateral agreements like the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). Other members of the panel included Mr. John M. Peterson of Neville Peterson LLP, New York and Mr. Rafael Prieto of Bryan Consulting Cd., Mexico.
