In Deborah Yedlin's Calgary Herald article, "Calgary Firms See Growth Potential in China," Perry Spitznagel comments on the firm's decision to open an office in Beijing, stating, "We're seeing more interest and activity to China from Canada and the other way around…We pride ourselves in being one of the best energy firms in the country, as China takes more of interest on the resource side, we felt having a footprint in China, however small, was the right thing to do. We truly believe we need to be there."
