TORONTO, March 15, 2012 - On March 16th, Bennett Jones Class Action litigator, Mike Eizenga, will moderate a discussion on Multijurisdictional Class Action Suits for the Quebec Bar Association's Class Action Seminar – Recent Developments in Quebec, in Canada, in the United States (2012).

The two day conference will cover topics that include; Consumer Rights, A discussion on Fees, Employment Rights and Recent Developments in Class Actions in the U.S.

"This event is a significant opportunity for the legal community from different jurisdictions to share and learn from each other", says Mr. Eizenga.

The sharing of knowledge is not limited to lawyers however. The last word will come from a round table discussion between judges from Quebec, Ontario and B.C. on the various issues facing judges in handling class actions across Canada.

"Class actions are increasingly multijurisdictional", adds Eizenga. "In a World where consumer goods and commercial activity crosses borders, lawyers and judges alike are grappling with finding ways to resolve disputes involving parties and class members in multiple jurisdictions."

The Conference is being held at the Palais des Congres de Montreal, Suite 524, 101 place Jean-Paul Riopelle, with sessions starting today at 8:30 AM and finishing tomorrow the 16 of March at 3:45 PM.
