Bennett Jones LLP is pleased to announce that Brian Rose has joined the firm as a Senior Business Advisor. Mr. Rose will practise between the Bennett Jones Canadian offices and New York.
Mr. Rose's practice is focused on corporate finance, privatizations, mergers and acquisitions, with emphasis on financial institutions. He is frequently involved in transactions having an international aspect and has acted as an advisor to various governmental agencies, providing advice on a broad range of distribution, market conduct, compliance, and other regulatory matters. Mr. Rose is internationally recognized as a leader in the insurance sector.
Mr. Rose is ranked as a leading Canadian lawyer by all of the rating agencies, and with decades of active participation in international legal organizations including the ABA and IBA, he is widely viewed as one of Canada's preeminent lawyers across the globe.
Mr. Rose is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. Mr. Rose received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for dedicated service to his peers, the community and to Canada.
