Toronto - The Canada-China mine valuation workshop was held in Toronto, October 16, 2013, at the offices of law firm, Bennett Jones LLP. This event brought together Canadian and Chinese experts to discuss and exchange information about mining valuation methods, standards and techniques. The participants also discussed the integration of mining valuation with the technical aspects of mining.
The Canadian Institute of Mining organized this event in cooperation with the Economics Society (MES) and the Chinese Association of Mineral Resources Appraisers Authority (CAMRA – an agency of the Chinese Ministry of Lands and Resources).
