Ana Nizharadze maintains a broad commercial litigation practice at Bennett Jones with experience in class actions, fraud related disputes and insurance defence. She also has experience in intellectual property matters with a focus on trademark disputes.
Ana has assisted on matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Federal Court, supporting all stages of litigation. She brings a thoughtful and strategic approach to her files and assists in providing clear and practical solutions on complex disputes.
Ana graduated magna cum laude from law school, where she was actively involved in competitive moots. She was the runner-up at the Fox Intellectual Property Moot, earning an award for Best Oralist in a non-graduating year, and later won the Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot, where she was recognized as a top-five oralist. During law school, Ana also served as an Associate Editor of the Ottawa Law Review, was involved with organizations like LEAF and the First Generation Network and gained hands-on experience at a legal clinic supporting marginalized community members. She also completed a semester abroad in Amsterdam.
She is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and The Advocates' Society.
