Jake has a split general corporate and commercial litigation practice in Edmonton. He assists on a broad range of legal issues including mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings, employment law, and intellectual property matters. Prior to joining Bennett Jones as an associate, Jake summered and articled with the firm.
During his studies, Jake obtained The Witten LLP Prize in Property Law for top performance in this course and volunteered in the Criminal Division at Student Legal Services. He also represented the University of Alberta at the Venture Capital Investment Competition in 2022, placing second in Canada, and was the Gold Medalist of the 2020 Internal Case Competition.
