Celina maintains a general civil litigation practice with a growing focus on commercial disputes. She represents clients before the Alberta Court of King's Bench and has assisted with matters before the Alberta Court of Appeal, as well as domestic and international arbitration proceedings involving complex contractual disputes within the petrochemical industry. Celina has also assisted in advancing expropriation claims exceeding $1 billion.
In addition to her litigation practice, Celina is active in administrative law, particularly in the area of policing. She has also contributed to discreet matters involving novel constitutional and public law challenges, drawing from her previous role as a legislative development intern with the Senate of Canada.
Before becoming an associate with Bennett Jones, Celina summered and articled with the firm. She also brings valuable industry experience from her previous role in public affairs at a multinational engineering, procurement, and construction company.
Celina actively seeks opportunities to contribute to her community and was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarship for her contributions to social development initiatives in Cape Town, South Africa.
