She has more than 25 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation as well as construction law. She also has vast experience in defending class actions involving product liability, consumer products, drugs and medical devices, automotive parts and claims involving alleged competition law violations. Pascale is one of the few lawyers in Québec with expertise in competition law. She offers practical advice and a pragmatic approach to clients and knows what works – and what to avoid – in complex litigation. Pascale is a legal innovator. Prior to joining Bennett Jones, she was a founder of d3b Lawyers in Montréal, acting in large and complex litigation for private and public organizations. She brings this same entrepreneurial, client-focused ethos to her litigation practice at Bennett Jones. She acts as plaintiff and defence counsel in connection with numerous mandates on behalf of major companies in various fields. She has acted as an advisor in the development of competition compliance programs and has represented her clients in inquiries into restrictive business practices and criminal offences. Pascale has been appointed on numerous occasions to preside over investigatory examinations conducted by Canada's Commissioner of Competition. Pascale is highly engaged and active in the legal community and has several leadership roles with the Canadian Bar Association's Québec Branch. She is an administrator on the Board of Directors, as well as a member of the Executive Committees of both the Construction Law Section and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section.
