Bennett Jones
Nina Butz has a general commercial litigation practice. She has experience working in class actions, fraud and securities litigation, as well as environmental and employment law. Nina has worked on several matters before the Ontario Competition Bureau and Ontario Securities Commission. She regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, has appeared in the Ontario Court of Appeal and has assisted with several matters before the Supreme Court of Canada.
Nina volunteers her time at Pro Bono Ontario's Law Help Centres and has participated in full-representation of pro-bono clients.
Prior to joining Bennett Jones as an associate, Nina both summered and articled with the firm. Nina is a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association, the Advocates' Society, the Ontario Bar Association (Class Action Law Section and Environmental Law Section), the Canadian Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She is also a registered notary public.
