Angela advises Canadian and international public and private companies and private equity groups on M&A and capital markets matters, leveraging her extensive experience in a diverse range of industries to quickly understand her clients' strategic business objectives and provide creative solutions regarding complex agreements and transaction structures.

Her transactional experience includes public and private M&A, including add-on acquisitions, divestitures and buyouts, as well as PIPEs, public listings, private placements, prospectus offerings, reverse takeovers and general commercial matters. She also advises on a wide range of corporate governance topics, including ESG matters, governance policies, securities regulations and continuous disclosure requirements, and has assisted special committees in connection with hostile takeovers and other special transactions.

Angela represents clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including mining, healthcare, technology, infrastructure, manufacturing and agribusiness. She is passionate about providing her clients with pragmatic advice and an exceptional level of service so they can be confident knowing they will have her support at critical times. 

She is currently Chair of the Ontario Local Advisory Committee of the TSX Venture Exchange as well as a member of its National Advisory Committee, and a member of the Mining Committee for the Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law’s upcoming 2025 Special Institute in Lima, Peru. Angela is also an advisor for the Business Transitions Forum’s Toronto conference, and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Association for Corporate Growth, the FNREL, and the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC).

Prior to her move from Vancouver in 2020, she was a member of the Women's Leadership Circle Advisory Board at the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, and was a strong supporter of the BC Cancer Foundation, where she previously served on the Organizing Committee of its annual Hope Couture fundraising event, which raised almost $2 million for cancer research and care during her three-year tenure.
